Elon Musk shares his two cents in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial.
On Friday, podcast host Lex Friedman offered a takeaway from his defamation trial via Twittersharing five points about fame, love, lawyers, lying, and wine.
Musk, 50, later replied To the Tweet, write, “Hope they go ahead.”
“At their best, every one of them is incredible,” he added.

Heard, 36, and Musk were first linked together in 2016. The two broke up in August 2017 due to their busy schedules, but rekindled their romance in January 2018, and broke up for the second time a month later.
During the trial, Depp, 58, was charged with Aquaman She is the actress who started a romantic relationship with Musk “no later than a month” after marrying Depp in 2015.
In the lawsuit obtained by PEOPLE, Depp alleged that Heard received “late-night” visits from billionaire businessman Musk in Los Angeles’ penthouse Depp and Heard when Depp was out of the country.
Depp went on to claim that Musk was granted access to his home on the same night that Heard showed her worn-out face to the public. His lawsuit alleges that Heard’s allegations of domestic violence against Depp are false and a “complex hoax.”

A representative for Musk confirmed that “Elon and Amber didn’t start meeting each other until May 2016, and even then it was a rarity. Their relationship only became romantic after some time.”

Depp and Heard split in May 2016, when Heard filed for divorce and then sought a restraining order against domestic violence against him. Depp has denied the allegations of abuse, and the former couple settled their divorce out of court in August 2016.
Deep Heard is suing for $50 million in defamation compensation during an op-ed she wrote in December 2018 about making allegations of abuse, although she did not name him in the article. In turn, Heard resists him for defamation, and demands $100 million in damages.

On Friday, attorneys for both exes gave their final notes at the ongoing trial in Fairfax, Virginia, summarizing many of the allegations on both sides so far since the proceedings began on April 11.
“You either believe all of this or you don’t believe any of it,” Depp’s attorney, Camille Vasquez, said of Heard’s allegations of abuse against Depp. “Either she is the victim of truly horrific abuse or she is a woman who is willing to say anything at all.”

She also accused Heard of “extreme cruelty”, and of having “entered this courtroom ready to give the performance of her life, and she gave it.”
In part, during his closing remarks, Heard’s attorney, Ben Rothenborn, said, “If he offended her once, Amber wins,” and accused Depp of having “nearly all” of his witnesses on his payroll.
And Rottenborn added, “Let’s see the beast. Let’s see the beast in the body,” Before playing the video From Deep Closes Cabinets in Ex-Couple’s Kitchen.
