theft – At 6:34 p.m. on April 21, the police responded to a Prologis distribution center for SAR 22 in a rubbish-scattering and theft incident. The stolen property included a Tactacam Reveal X Cellular Trail Camera, worth $120. Investigation is underway.
DUI – At 4:59 a.m. May 7, an accident occurred on East Main Street involving the 2015 Subaru Outback. The detainee, 26, of Horseheads, New York, was driving a car while under the influence of alcohol.
DUI – At 2:24 a.m. on May 22, police arrested Ashley Destinoble, 22, of Leytees, for driving a 2012 Nissan on North 10th Street and C&L Avenue while she was under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
Palace corruption- At 3:29 p.m. on May 16, police received a referral on a children’s line involving drug activity in the presence of a 7-year-old woman from Cleona on North Lincoln Avenue. The case is still open.
criminal mischief Police have charged three juveniles with criminal corruption after a spray-paint incident that occurred on March 20 at an elementary school and Cornwall Borough property.
East Hanover town
Car accident – At 2:51 p.m. on May 24, a crash occurred on Allentown Boulevard on Gravel Hill Road. The accident involved a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 21-year-old Jonestown and a 2005 GMCR 3500 driven by a 20-year-old Halifax man. Both individuals were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident and were not injured. Police cited the Jonestown woman with the required turn and gestures.
Car accident – At 7:23 a.m. on May 16, a two-vehicle crash occurred on South Ramona Road in Rustville Road. A 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 73-year-old Lebanese man was heading east on Reistville Road, approaching south of Ramona, and a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 17-year-old from Merstown was stopped at a stop sign on South Ramona Road in Reistville. The jeep turned left south of Ramona and hit the driver’s side bumper and the Volkswagen wheel on his front bumper. Volkswagen was pulled from the scene. Police said both operators were wearing seat belts and no injuries were reported. The police cited the Lebanese man who was driving his car on roads surrounded by traffic.
Simple assault, harassment – At 7:46 p.m. on May 25, police responded to Laurel Drive regarding a reported incident of domestic violence. Police charged Brandon Rowland, 32, of Myerstown, with assault and petty harassment. The victim was a 31-year-old woman from Merstown.
Firearm All other crimes- At 1:12 p.m. on January 11, police were notified of the denial of the Pennsylvania Prompt Inspection System (PICS) after an individual attempted to purchase a firearm in Building 00 of West Main Avenue and was not permitted to do so. Investigation is underway.
North Londonderry Township
Theft by illegal taking – Police have charged Roderick Holley Sr., 42, with involvement in an incident that occurred sometime between May 9 and 10 on 1300th Street of East Main Street. A car theft from Lebanon Valley Mobile Homes was reported on May 11th. On May 12, Holly was found in possession of the stolen car. An investigation ensued and Holly admitted to stealing the car.
Driving while suspended and uncontrolled behavior – At 6:30 p.m. on May 16, police cited Joseph Kimberling, 30, of Grantville, with driving at a stop (related to DUI) and disorderly behavior after a traffic stop on Building 900 of Hoover Road. Police found Kemberling in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police arrested Kimberling for violating the probation period.
Car accident – At 3:53pm on May 21, police cited a 34-year-old woman from Annville in connection with a crash at the intersection of Parliament Drive and Oxford Road. The woman operated a truck that got off a stop sign without a permit and collided with a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old man from Anville. Anvil man’s car requires towing. The Anvil woman was taken to hospital to receive treatment for injuries.
Possession of drugs and operating a vehicle without a valid test At approximately 11:27 p.m. May 9, police noticed a wanted person in the Turkey Hill parking lot. They identified the subject as Nicholas Gonzalez, 25. The court note was outside the District of Lebanon on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. The police arrested Gonzalez and transferred him to the central detention center in Lebanon Province for treatment. Police also cited Gonzalez for driving a vehicle without a valid check.
DUI, not showing up – At approximately 12:02 a.m. on May 24, police stopped a black Patriot Jeep in block 700 of East Main Street. Police identified the driver as Christina Whritenour, 40, who was wanted by the Dauphin County Police Department for not appearing on a DUI charge. Police made an arrest for Whritenour and transferred her to Dauphin County Jail.
DUI – At approximately 2:31 a.m. on May 14, police began stopping traffic on a vehicle driven by Neil Swatsky at Building 100 of North Railroad Street. It was known that Swatsky had an arrest warrant outside the city of Lebanon for possession of a controlled substance. During the stop, the police determined that Swatsky was under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance. Police also found that Swatsky was in possession of marijuana. The police transferred Swatsky to Lebanon County Central Detention Center on the warrant. On May 19, police filed separate charges against Swatsky for three counts of DUI and marijuana possession.
Criminal damage less than $1,000 – At approximately 9:15 a.m. on May 27, police responded to block 100 of South Park Street where someone, at an unknown time and date, defaced a brick memorial with “We Watching Pornhub” written with what appeared to be a black marker. The Richland Heritage Society owns the memorial donated by the citizens of the community. The damage amount was $100. The police conducted a survey of the area with negative results. Car accident – At approximately 5:34 pm on May 23, a crash occurred at the intersection of 22 SAR and North Lancaster Street. A 2021 Tesla Motors Model 3 is stopped at a stop sign on North Lancaster Street. A 2001 Volkswagen Jetta was driven by a 28-year-old Lebanese man heading east at 22 SAR in the left lane. A Tesla car crossed the road without a permit. Volkswagen attempted evasive maneuvers and hit a steering rod on the south side of the SAR 22. No injuries were reported, according to police. Police cited a Tesla driver with stop and fly signs. Police also cited the Lebanese man who was driving on roads surrounded by traffic.
Car accident – At 3:13 p.m. May 25, an SR 72 crash occurred on Thompson Street. The accident involved a 2010 Ford Flex driven by a 44-year-old woman and a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by a 31-year-old man from Hughesville. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. The woman sustained minor suspected injuries and was transported via Life Lion EMS to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for medical treatment. The Hughesville man was not hurt. The police cited the woman who was holding stop signs and stop signs and the man who was stopping, standing and parking his car outside the business and residence area.
Car accident – At 11:40 p.m. on May 18, a crash occurred at the Love’s Truck Stop parking lot at 22 Old Forge Road. A 2022 George R Lawson trailer truck driven by an unknown person was leaving the scene and set aside a 2020 Volvo truck driven by a 31-year-old Markham, Ontario. The George R. Lawson truck continued in an unknown direction. Volvo had minor mud flap damage.
DUI – At 1:55am on May 21, police arrested a 16-year-old Lebanese woman for driving a 2011 Nissan Versa while under the influence of alcohol on SAR 72 and Johnstown Road.
West Cornwall town
Car accident – At 4:18 p.m. on May 21, a crash occurred near Horseshoe Pike and Colebrook Road, when a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Elizabethtown man crashed into the rear end of a vehicle driven by a 60-year-old Lebanese woman.
Car accident – At 11:24 p.m. on May 20, a crash occurred on block 200 of South Butler Road. A 29-year-old man from Mannheim lost control of his car, got off the road, and wiped the side of a utility pole. Police said the driver was not hurt. His car requires towing.
disorderly behavior – Police have cited a 22-year-old Lebanese man with disorderly behavior after an accident at 8:15 p.m. May 19 in Building 00 on West Main Street.
