Berendo was at the CIBL Radiothon 2009

Saturday, November 14th at the 29th Annual Radiothon of CIBL 101.5 FM radio. Lyse and Nathalie had the honor and pleasure to be invited to Carl Witchel’s show, Omnivore.  The theme of this particular show was to have the audience discover various culinary delights.

Berendo was invited for the last half hour of the show to introduce its coffee.  We had the pleasure of experiencing extraordinary appies and a fabulous desert from the restaurant La Coupole. It was an absolute treat to have had the opportunity to taste the chocolat mascarpone desert  with the Berendo espresso,

Invited guests were Karen Young, singer/songwriter and composer.  Karen is also the mother of Coral Egan author, singer, and composer. Gino Mourin, F & B Director of restaurant La Coupole in the Hotel Le Crystal.

We offered CIBL two Christmas gift ensembles for the Radiothon. These two gift ensembles will be drawn amongst the CIBL members.

Congratulations to all volunteers and guests of the CIBL Radiothon. The objective had been set at $ 230,000. The amount raised is $ 231,660. A real success!
